The name of the one who wrote the poem has the same name of the person from
ebay who I bought Living Eyes from in December (Which I received in the mail
today, Maurice funeral day) Could it be the same person?
It was a nice poem, thank you for posting it.

All,

I would like to share with you a poem that was written by one of my fellow
contributors to the Ordinary People project, shortly after we lost Maurice.

It really touched me. Steve Barry is the same age as me and and though he
lives in a different continent we share a lot. Some of this became apparent
during the making of the record. Clearly we are sharing a lot during these
sad times:

STEVE'S POEM
Dear Omega Man in the Middle
You Know it's for you that we mourn.

Suddenly, Overnight, I find myself, All By Myself.
Such A Shame.
Where are you?

It's Just The Way that you went,
Like a Wildflower which has faded too Fast.

Now, you are Walking On Air
In other dimensions.

We will miss you.

(c) Steve Barry, January 12th 2003

We are all very tired. I haven't slept well since Maurice passed, if I, or
someone else inadvertadly insulted you, I apologize. I think we are a

Someone sent a terse unsubscribe letter, and usually I ignore them, but this
time I was very upset about all this. Anyway, if it was you, I apologize if
I was rude.

Ronnie,
My husband mentioned this to me as well. We discussed a future concert with
Mo's hat on a microphone stand and his glasses on top of his keyboard. It
was the one thing we actually smiled about since this terrible loss.

I'm not sure if anyone saw the picture of Robin with Dwina(although she was
labeled as an unidentified woman). I went to Yahoo News to do a search on
any memorial information. What really caught my attention was the hat Robin
was wearing. I swear I wish I could turn back the hands of time and Mo was
here. I can't even express how sad I am. I have waves of anger too but it
does help as soon as I put on a video or listen to their music. AOL and
Netscape radio have a continuous radio station playing only the Bee Gees.
That helps as well.

I was a member of this list for awhile (mostly a lurker only posting when I
had information). I had to come back because only Bee Gee fans understand
and can support each other. My husband understands to a point but others
really don't get the meaning of being a fan. The Bee Gees have been there my
entire life. My father was already a fan when I came along in 1968. He had
the 1st album at that time. His collection grew as I grew so to me the Bee
Gees were my extended family. That's how the loss of Maurice feels-like a
major loss in my family.

the music and the videos, perhaps the memories of meeting him, the interview
clips. The family has lost the person-the individual they knew and loved and
saw practically every day-for the brothers a part of their spirit, the man
they knew and loved from childhood, who they worked with to create some of
the best music in history. For Yvonne and the kids-the husband/best friend
and father they knew. For his Mom-the second child she has lost. This must
be totally devastating. They are the ones I am truly sad for. The media and
the tributes will go away shortly-the Family are the ones who will wake up
every morning and have to deal with this enormous loss. My heart goes out to
them and I pray they have the strength to deal with all of those sad
tomorrows

One really doesn't see that the press has photographed them in public together, at least not here in the States ... so that would be understandable.
