Thanks to all of you for your links and updates - here in Australia, we are only hearing the same news over and over - no updated reports. I, along with all of you, am thinking of him and his family, and I hope that, with all our love, hopes, prayers & wishes, he will pull thru this and be sitting up in that hospital bed cracking jokes and back to his normal, lovable self in no time at all. I am imaginging all the things that can happen with that scenario: Perforation of bowel with massive infection and peritonitis, Or Infarction of the bowel, where part of it actually "dies" because it loses circulation - not a great thing either. Either of these conditions can lead to Sepsis (overwhelming infection) and a condition called Septic shock. And then it can get even worse -- so HELP me!! Removing half the stomach and part of the intestines tells me either perforation or infarction. So REALLY say your prayers, and hope that I just have an overactive imagination (you know how newspapers sensationalize). Maybe Mo is not near as bad as the papers are making me think. I know all of us great Bee Gee fans out there pulling and praying together can make a difference!!
