Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!! I am usually a lurker, I have come out to agree with both Patty and Christine. These are the people we love and admire, their music is well worth waiting for, yes I am biased They have been to South Africa only once, I wasn't able to see them though and yes I do wish they would come out here again. Lets face it fellow Gibbers they are THE BEST and when you think about it, they have REALLY earned the right to relax some don't you think? About a week ago I thought it was time to change all the passwords on the List server. I have from time to time changed my passwords on the server, as well as changed the passwords on my mail account. Last week I felt it time to change all the passwords. This includes some of the "system accounts". (one reason these accounts are required is to give certain programs, "permission" to execute or carry out a "function". like a web server, cgi scripts etc) Well, I changed the passwords and was able to check my mail no problem. All set, "I thought" 3 nights ago I tried to check my mail via the "Web Page": http://www.brothersgibb.com/webmail I was not able to. Server error. Come to find out that the email/web process could not log into the server to run. It took at least 14 hours over three days to track down the problem and to correct, (turns out it was an IIS Out of Sync issue) but it is now back up and running... First, sorry for any inconvenience. Every effort is made to keep things up and running smoothly. Second, I am not sure how long the web mail was down. It may have been down for a week to a week and a half... PLEASE, please, please... If anyone notices any problems with the Words list, please send me an email. Email me first at: admin@brothersgibb.com (those stand out more as I get far lass spam there) or cmathis@brothersgibb.com I understand if there is a problem with the server, perhaps sending mail there may not go through. You could also email me at: brainstorm411@hotmail.com Please just put: "WORDS LIST!!!! " in the Subject field of the email. (again, to stand out against the spam) Thank you very much and again, sorry for any inconvenience. .....----===*Chris... http://www.brothersgibb.com Bee Gees News and Information ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Jan 2003 21:02:53 -0500 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Server! The Scandinavian leg of the "One For All" tour in May 1989 was to consist of shows at the Valbyhallen in Copenhagen (Denmark), the Globe in Stockholm (Sweden) and the Drammenshalle in Oslo (Norway). I know for a fact that the Swedish show was advertised in the press, but ultimately it didn't happen. The concert in Norway didn't happen either. Guess there is a backlog of e-mails on the server. Wonder how many more that will appear? It's been a while since the One tour but I think tickets for the Oslo concert could be ordered as well. Can't say for sure as I didn't plan to go there (don't speak the lingo) ;o) I ordered tickets for both Valbyhallen and Globen but alas we only got to experience the gig at Valbyhallen. Swedes had to settle for seats further back though :o( but it was a good show nonetheless. I'd say us Scandinavians (I think there was at least one Norwegian there too) were pretty starved for Bee Gees as they had to wait for the applauds to die down before they could continue with the next song. Dammit, I wish they do tour again. If not, they could at least do a unplugged gig in my pad...
