They've been working since their teens...they've earned the right to sit back and relax with their families and hobbies ... or not. What I was attempting to say (but very inarticulately) was that I believe the people/companies whose products we buy have no accountability or obligation to us other than for the quality of the specific car/movie ticket/soap/CD/yadda yadda yadda they sell us. And I believe that applies just as much to entertainers/artists as it does to businessmen. The guy for whom I formerly worked always told me, "Debbie, when I get my last kid into college, I'm out of here," and he promptly retired at 50 and bought a second home in Palm Beach. He, like the Gibbs, had already made his fortune and could devote the rest of his life to his family, travel, hobbies AND doing good for his community. I, for one, subscribe to his theory wholeheartedly. All good things must come to an end, and I personally will be shocked if we ever see the Bee Gees on a concert tour again. I'm not going to hold my breath for any new CDs either. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd bet I'm not. Debbie ===================================== Toyota still makes new cars every year, Clooney still makes films ect every year, the soap company still make soap every year, The bee gees just disappear every three years ten months out of four years and play live even less and I never asked for a discount or a free album or a free concert Brian Brian -- I wish the world worked like that, but I don't think it does. Does Toyota throw in a free car (or even a discount) after we've bought 5 vehicles from them? Does George Clooney say, "You've been to my movies SO many times that I think I'll stop by your place and do a little skit for you" Debbie "Words & Music", Fans Of The Brothers Gibb ( Bee Gees ) http://www.brothersgibb.com To change any of your list options, please go to website listed above. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
