Must have been a real tough time. Followed by the reunion with a great three-way vocal of "Lonely Days" (but Barry took the lead) and then "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" with Robin beginning the song and Barry following with the lead vocal again. I wish I had been a fly on the wall of those studios! Then it Barry all the way through the seventies! Barry's ego really shows in his sixties interviews. He sounded kind of priggish, but my God, he was barely out of his teens and a millionaire songwriter! There were more Barry songs than Robin or Maurice songs to follow (or before). We all know Barry has his 'country' album coming (God, I hope it is a hit!) and poor Robin - I can only pray that he does something worthy of his talent. BTW. Does anyone have the latest transcript from the Barry Chat? Every time his Chat comes around I get six Email notifications. Maybe someday, somebody will ask a legitimate question of value.
