There are old gays hanging out just to hear and see her, like Judy Garland with the last generation. I suspect at certain venues (maybe ONE) she will sing three songs with Barry for the DVD sales and move on. Maybe some duets via pre-recorded tapes ala Natalie/Nat King Cole. I own two Babs CD's ONLY. Guess which? Arif Mardin did NOT produce "You Should Be Dancing", but his influence was there. Thank God for him. In 1980 Barry and bro's were in their early thirties and so was Babs, so the public expected something 'hot' from them. They got Babs biggest selling album to date. Now, the aging baby-boomers are not into retrospective Bee Gees or Babs and so, "GP" could not have been a huge success, but was anticipated being one by fans only. (C'mon. Did you read the lyrics for "Night Of My Life"?) Babs and Barry are old folks, and so am I. It sucks, but as Robert Stigwood says on the BarryGibb.com radio. "Its been 'hhhaaaaarrd' sometimes, but we'll always have the music". He is such a drama queen. and a successful one at that and I love him! It was good to see he knew all the names anyway. Thought it was worth mentioning! The world will surely be a lesser place without him and his great talent. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Speculation's fine, but nobody can state as a fact something that somebody *didn't* say unless you are with them 24/7." You are absolutely correct. I have no facts on this just like everyone else here I presume. Like I said it was reported on Barbra's message board as a rumor and we all know about rumors don't we. It is my opinion, however, that this is not a feasible Nancy ------------------------------ End words@brothersgibb.com Digest [06/27/2006 03:01] ----------------------------------------------------
