Noticed they haven't got artwork cover figured out. If you've noticed on their 100 BeeGee CD listings.....a number of them such as Glasshouse, have no cover or track listings.....what's the deal? > Is Robin doing Meth? There is no "Meth_od" to what Robin does....it's a always a mystery or that "enigma" thing. Genny>>> Genny, et al, They are all unremastered Aussie recordings pre-1967. I had some fun on Amazon.com and created a WORST OF albums from that period. Enjoy! Gorgeous song and an incredible record, but the vocals on the studio version are mutlitracked and layered so many times it would have been next to impossible to recreate live. When the UNICEF special aired on January 10th, 1979, "Too Much Heaven" was still at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US - perhaps they felt that a truly live, stripped-down performance of the song would have been less recognizable to people and might disrupt the momentum of the record. Speculation, of course - there may have been other reasons. Grant Very sensible explanation and most likely true. How did they perform TMH when they toured later in the year? Anyone remember? I was there at their concert at the Garden in New York, but 27 years later and only 13 at that time its all a blur. I love the live acoustic version with their real voices, performed at later concerts. It made like and appreciate the song much better.
