Subject: Reactions to "I Cannot Give You My Love"

As many people may know by now, sir Cliff wrote with Barry this song.
Well, according to a bgs site (updated recently), "Cliff performed
April 3 during his first concert in the Royal Albert Hall in London".

Well, I joined a sir Cliff ml to read about some reactions. Here's
what I got:

"I quite liked the 7 new songs, particularly What Car and the Barry
Gibb song (that must be the first single!). "

"To be honest I wasn't paying attention to the backing tracks so not
sure if the sampled Barry's backing vocals. I loved the new songs
though and I think we're in for a terrific album. I know what you mean
about the 'car song'!
<<The second half was great too, loads of new songs, which on first
hearing i have to admit I had difficulty distinguishing between, but
the second night they were all brilliant. I particularly likd the
Chris Eaton song and the Barry Gibb one (am sure they have sampled
Barry's backing vocals for that... did anyone else think this too?)."

is written by Barry Gibb and is a typical Bee Gees song - high notes

super song. Here is the chorus: "I cannot give you my love, no matter
how hard I try, Anything you say and do...To the moon and stars and
back, I cannot give you my love". The chorus is so extremely catchy
that it is very easy to sing along to. That is the usual sure-fire
sign of a HIT record. In my opinion, this is a potential Top 10
hit...This song is very similar to The Bee Gees 1978 hit "Too much
Heaven". "



More reactions to be posted as I find them. Unfortunately we cannot
hear (yet) any snippet of the song as there is a ban towards any
recording equipment (even cellphones!) at Sir cliff's concerts.
