Ummm...well...I don't think THEY named it. (VBG)
I'm thinking their new manager did.
And, I'm also thinking Robert meant 1st for his FIVE man b= and.
Besides, at the time of its release, only Australians knew = ;The BEE GEES had a life before Stigwood.
So, it APPROPRIATELY was titled--for everybody but Aussies--
The BEE GEES 1st.   (even bigger--triumphant--grin)

> It is "Craise Finton Kirk Royal Academy Of Arts".
It originated somewhere in the brilliant song-writing brains of
our beloved BEE GEES.
You will find it on their first album--appropriately
titled: "BEE GEES' 1st ".

What's appropriate about calling your third (effectively fourth) alb= um "Bee
Gees First"?!

Andrew

I've heard from a couple of people who are interested in possibly hooking up for this concert in DC and maybe even meeting for dinner the night before in the DC area. Anyone else who is interested can email me privately. Hope to hear from some of ya! I thought that was what was in Peter Frampton's mouth for the video for "Do You Feel Like I Do?" ( I think that is the name of the song ) OK ... OK ... so it is a stretch ;) but I tried posting this earlier and then saw the email about how the system might be down so maybe it did not go through :) Janel > >We have somehow deviated from the Voice Bag / Vocoder thread here! > >Andrew > ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jun 2004 12:04:21 -0400 From: SCompo1993@aol.com Subject: Re: Digest (06/17/2004 09:01) (#2004-2) In a message dated 6/17/2004 9:02:15 AM Eastern Daylight Time, listmember@brothersgibb.com writes: > Date: Thu, 17 Jun 2004 07:55:28 +0100 > From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Andrew_M=F4n_Hughes?= > Subject: Re: Voice effects other than reverb or echo > > From: Ross > > > It is "Craise Finton Kirk Royal Academy Of Arts". > It originated somewhere in the brilliant song-writing brains of > our beloved BEE GEES. > You will find it on their first album--appropriately > titled: "BEE GEES' 1st ". > > > What's appropriate about calling your third (effectively > fourth) album "Bee > Gees First"?! > > Andrew How did you figure that Andrew? My understanding is that the album The Bee Gees Sing and Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs (1964 or 1965?)is a collection of their Australian singles (with B sides)to that point, along with 3 new songs. The 1966 album Spicks and Spe If I'm wrong and misinformed please tell me.
