We know there are Bee Gees fan club chapters at Happy Acres, so why not Alcatraz?? Debbie Good question, Debbie, good question. Although I don't know why not ... there's just everything else these days. Lois This begs the question: Is there a Bee Gees fan club chapter at Alcatraz?? Debbie ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Jun 2003 13:43:01 -0400 From: Debbie Howell Subject: The Day The Music Died Holly -- I've listened to very little music since Mo died. I went through this stage of not being able to listen to Bee Gees music at all, but instead playing beautiful but mournful dirges like Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You" over and over. Lately I haven't been listening to much of anything at all, but maybe I'll eventually find a happy medium. Debbie Lois and Debbie...I have the same problem as you do with some songs. I like Dr. Michelle's prescription, but I would change it to turn off the offending music (if you can) or if you can't move to another room, have some chocolate and put on your favorite Bee Gee CD or album, close your eyes and relax... Shannon ... you're hired ( even though I never saw your response to my comment about my singing ... LOL! ) The search for an assistant is over ( phew ) ... Double LOL! Every generation needs its idols. Isn't it a refreshing change after all those years of the Bee Gees to see someone who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket strike it rich?? This IS America, you know! Debbie Well they did it to the Bee Gees so why not have a Britney Spears record burning? Shouldn't have happened to our guys but Britney..come on....we'd be doing the world a favor! Shannon (I know this was not addressed to me but couldn't resist Debbie as I get this eye twinge thing going every time I hear her singing or even speaking) Dr. Michelle -- I have this terrible pain in my head when I hear a Britney Spears record. What should I do??
